چکیده

High concentrations of ammonia nitrogen lead to multi-organ damage, decreased immunity, and metabolic disorders in aquaculture animals, which cause disease outbreaks. This study mainly screened probiotic strains for good control the concentration identified strain LG37 as Bacillus velezensis according its morphological, 16S rDNA, phylogenetic, genomic data analysis. achieved efficiently purifies water enhances toxicity tolerance grass carp ammonia. The experimental on growth characteristics showed that exhibited a satisfactory trend with 10 types sugar, 17 amino acids, 6 organic carbon or source. Under conditions initial dissolved oxygen at 6±1 mg/L, temperature 27±2°C, pH 7±0.3. Through wastewater treatment equipment, degraded feed protein culture reached up 55.5% 73.6% within one week, respectively. Moreover, acute test, when without was fed carp, safe (non-ionic ammonium) 3.37 mg/L (0.2 mg/L). When 5.11 (0.31 Compared LG37, increased by 51.63% (55%).

Insights into the Antiviral Immunity against Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) Reovirus (GCRV) in Grass Carp

Global fish production from aquaculture has rapidly grown over the past decades, and grass carp shares the largest portion. However, hemorrhagic disease caused by grass carp reovirus (GCRV) results in tremendous loss of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) industry. During the past years, development of molecular biology and cellular biology technologies has promoted significant advances in the...

Case report of chondroma in a grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)

The grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is a herbivorous, freshwater fish species of the family Cyprinidae, and the only species of the genus Ctenopharyngodon. Neoplasms in fishes are generally less aggressive than neoplasms in mammals and are most commonly discrete, focal and benign neoplasms. A 3-year-old grass carp with a big mass on the vertebrae was referred to the clinic. According to the...

Protective Roles of Grass Carp Ctenopharyngodon idella Mx Isoforms against Grass Carp Reovirus

BACKGROUND Myxovirus resistance (Mx) proteins are crucial effectors of the innate antiviral response against a wide range of viruses, mediated by the type I interferon (IFN-I) signaling pathway. However, the antiviral activity of Mx proteins is diverse and complicated in different species. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS In the current study, two novel Mx genes (CiMx1 and CiMx3) were identifie...

Purification and characterization of 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase (6-PGD) from grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) hepatopancreas.

6-Phosphogluconate dehydrogenase (6-PGD, E.C.: 1.1.1.44) was purified and characterized from the hepatopancreas of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) for the first time. Grass carp represents the second largest aquaculture industry in the world after silver carp, constituting 14.7% of the world aquaculture production, with an average annual increase of 14% in China, mainly as a source of food...
